We are pleased to announce the opening of the final stage of our renovation, an ice cream stand serving hand scooped, locally made Crescent Ridge ice cream and frozen yogurt. The crew has been training all week, learning the ropes of scooping, jimmies vs. sprinkles, sugar vs. waffle. All the important stuff.
Volante’s Ice Cream Stand is inside the new Farmstand, next to the deli and seating area. Ice Cream will be testing the logistics of this very happening place, by introducing a parallel set of hours to contend with. The Ice Cream Stand will be open from 11 am til 9 pm everyday through the summer. You can
order from the inside during regular stand hours and from the two outdoor windows during the day and after the Farmstand has closed.
We have added a whole new crew to handle this other feather in our cap, but you’ll be sure to see some familiar faces in there as well, to keep everything operating at the high standard Volante Farms strives for.
So, this Friday, everyone eat all your veggies and clean your plate, so that you can all come down and get an after dinner treat with us. Or make a night out of it and stop in for some world-class sandwiches and follow it up with some quality cones.
Lest we forget, beyond cups and cones, we’ll offer frappes – thickened to your taste, sundaes with the critical accoutrements, and even the classic Black Cow, made with Tower Root Beer from Somerville.
