July 1, 2011
Happy 4th of July weekend everyone!

Please take note of our Holiday Hours above.

Construction is well underway… today they poured the concrete footing that the foundation will sit on. Video will be up soon, probably after the holiday.

In other news, the entire month of July has been filled up with awesome events and cooking demos! August and September are filling up too, so make sure to check back here for updates. If you want updates sent directly to your inbox just send an email to info@volantefarms.com. You know you want to.

Here is the current list of events, and more will be coming! All events are on Saturdays:

July 2nd (that’s tomorrow!) at 10am: T’ART Sampling! Come meet the woman behind the T’ART, a new product we’re carrying this year. Then pick up some mix so that you can make one of your own over the holiday weekend. All you need to add is our fresh fruit, eggs, and butter!

July 9th at 11am: Dom’s Marinated Meats Sampling! Our new local meat vendor has all sorts of marinades that taste incredible! Stop by and see why we had to have their products in our refrigerators! They’ll be grilling steak tips, turkey tips, chicken and sausage so be sure not to miss it!

July 16th at 11am: Stone Hearth Pizza Cooking Demo!

July 23rd at 11am: Not Your Average Joe’s Cooking Demo!

July 30th at 11am: Spiga Restaurant Cooking Demo!

You won’t want to miss any of these events – all dishes made during cooking demos include our homegrown veggies! And you can pick up some useful kitchen tips from each of the fabulous chefs. There will be more cooking demos to come in August and September, as well as other great events, so make sure to keep checking!

From everyone here at Volante’s, have a happy and safe 4th of July! We hope to see you down here soon!

As you drive by on Central Ave. you may notice our patriotic flag atop a sizeable pile of dirt... our little tribute for the 4th during construction time.
